Update: 13th July 2019, Saturday
It’s time for the men’s finals this Sunday with Novak Djokovic v. Roger Federer @ 13:00UTC. Live stream the Wimbledon finals for free from BBC, Channel 7 / Seven Network, TVNZ or SRG SSF — SRF, RSI, RTS.
Break out the strawberries and cream, it’s time for the 2019 Wimbledon Championships, the oldest and arguably the most prestigious grand slam in the tennis calendar. This will be Wimbledon’s 133rd edition since being founded in 1877.
Rafael Nadal seem to be the men’s favourites this time around since claiming his 12th title at the Roland Garros earlier this month. Feliciano López is also another favourite after winning the latest Queen’s Club Championship in Singles and Doubles (with Andy Murray). On the other side of the aisle, women’s top ranks includes, French Open winner Ashleigh Barty, and Wimbledon defending champion Angelique Kerber.
Unsurprisingly, the long range Met office forecast is for “rather cool, changeable or unsettled weather”, no change there then! Qualifying starts on the 24th of June, with the main event from 1 — 14 July. Finals weekend is the 13th and 14th of July and full live coverage and highlights will be available for free from many providers such as the BBC (UK), Channel 7 (Australia), TVNZ (New Zealand), and SRF SSF (Switzerland).
Live coverage of all matches will be available for free or paid from many providers worldwide. Here are the Wimbledon online broadcast coverage breakdown for different countries worldwide:
