MPN Presents Tour de France

Update: 30 July 2018, Monday
Congratulations Geraint Thomas from Team Sky on your Tour de France win! The controversial Froome has failed to grasp 1st place for the team and rather, his team mate Thomas took the title instead – perhaps to a greater relief for the sport in general. Read more about it here from the BBC. We’ll see you folks back here again for the 2019 Tour de France, but for now it’s off to the Vuelta a España otherwise known as the Tour of Spain starting from 25 August, 2018! In the mean time, if you’re looking for more cycling action, the newly branded European Championships would be one to keep an eye on which will begin from 2 till 12 August.

The 2018 Tour de France is fast approaching and the world’s top cyclists will convene to compete in a gruelling 21 stage race, across 23 days that covers a total of 3,329 kilometres as they journey towards the French capital. Each hoping to wear the honoured yellow jersey.

Having been founded in 1903, this year will also mark the 105th edition of the race with the prestigious ‘Grand Depart’ starting off in Noirmoutier-en-l’Ile, France.

The race starts from 7 — 29 July, with the individual time trials on the 9th and 28th of July respectively. Live coverage will be available through most local providers worldwide with many offering free access to selected games. Here are the match coverage breakdown for the different countries:
