This year’s 2017/18 Premier League will mark the 26th season of the Premier League since being founded in 1992. As the top professional league in English football, the Premier League is contested by 20 of the best clubs through a system of promotion and relegation.
 
The 2017/18 Premier League season will kick off on 11 August 2017 and conclude on 13 May 2018. As usual, with each team playing every other team in the league twice (home and away), there’ll be a total of 380 matches in a single season!
 
Live coverage of selected games will be available through BT Sport and Sky Sports while BBC Sport’s Match of the Day will be providing free highlights throughout the season.
