Update: 11 June May 2018, Monday
The Scots stun England and secured the biggest win in their cricketing history. The results were a wonderful statement for Scotland who have been improving their game over the past few years only to be denied a place in the 2019 World Cup. However, going up against the world leaders, England, and holding up incredibly well only begs the questions of whether they should’ve been included. None the less, congratulations Scotland for winning this ODI!
Scotland recorded their first ODI win over a Test nation as they beat Zimbabwe last June and drew with the same opponents in March’s Qualifier only to be denied a place at next year’s World Cup after an agonising rain-affected defeat to West Indies in their final game. England on the other hand, who are warming up for home matches against Australia, were last in Scotland in 2014, winning a rain-affected match in Aberdeen by 39 runs. They will both play in an ODI this coming Sunday, 10 June.
Aggers and the TMS team will be covering it live from the MCC at 11am BST on Sunday the 10th June.
Live coverage will be available through BBC Radio (UK) and Sky Sports (UK), and SuperSport (South Africa). Here are the match coverage breakdown for the different countries:
- Online Radio Broadcast (U.K.) – Available on BBC Radio (FREE)
- United Kingdom – Available on and Sky Sports
