Removing DNS settings from your Amazon Kindle Fire

If you have set any custom DNS on your router such as our MyTelly Smart DNS addresses and wish to remove them, please follow the steps below:


  1. Go into Settings and tap on Wireless.
  2. In the Wireless settings menu, tap on Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap and hold on your current connected Wi-Fi connection, until a pop-up window appears and select Advanced Settings.
  4. Tap on Show Advanced Options.
  5. Change the IP settings to DHCP from Static.
  6. Tap on Save to save the changes.
