You can use and set the MyTelly service on all of the supported devices, but they all need to be on the same network, i.e your home network.
For MyTelly to work, you need to register your public Internet IP address with us, that is the public address of your network. Once you have done that, anything connected to that network can use our service if the DNS is set on the device.
As you can only register a single address at a time, if you were to go to another location or network, our service would not work until you registered it’s address and once you have done that, the previous address, i.e you home network, would stop working.
This also means that if you are trying to use a mobile device at home, the device must be connected to your home wifi. If it tries to use a mobile internet connection (ie 3G/LTE) it will probably not work as only the wifi address will be registered.
Unfortunately it doesn’t always go to plan!
If you have any problems or can’t get the channels working, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible and try to help.
