I have considered this for years but have been mistrustful of it’s complexity, reliability and efficacy. I tried it this year – 2014 – on our annual holiday to a Tuscan villa and was amazed at it’s ease, robustness and clarity. I bought a 9 quid deal and loaded onto an ipad. In Italy the wifi was slow but we still connected to it and the TV well and caught England leaving the FIFA World Cup with some local buffering but watchable. For TV that wasn’t high demand the service worked perfectly.
I won’t hesitate to use this again to watch ‘Chewy’ Luis Suarez noshing on his opponents and other brilliant BBC and ITV content.

I’ve been using Harry for 3 years and I’m a very satisfied customer. Whenever there’s a problem ( at my end, there’s never been a problem theirs) it always gets sorted quickly, efficiently politely and in language that makes required actions understandable to the non techie.

For the benefit of anyone browsing this site and wondering, I can tell you that I signed up in Dec 2012 and had no hesitation in renewing. The response to service questions is immediate and helpful and often goes beyond the VPN service they actually provide.

Once I got the system set up,
– flashing a dedicated secondary router into which a Sky box and Freeesat and cabled, to get the on demand service
– installing Tunnelblick on my MacBook and inserting the right settings

I never had to touch either the hardware or software again. The service just gets on with doing the job and leaves you in peace.

FANTASTIC customer service. As a loyal customer of MPN, I suddenly started having lots of trouble with the payment services (not MPN’s fault), and could not renew my account because of faults within the payment services. I emailed MPN’s customer service, late at night, to express my frustration, and received a reply within a couple of hours with an explanation, apology and an extension of my account free of charge. I didn’t expect such an understanding response, and such a kind gesture, so I will certainly be spreading the word about their great customer service and will continue to be a happy customer.
